At Distinctive Engraving, we aim to provide you with the best experience possible. 1) WHO IS DISTINCTIVE ENGRAVING AND WHAT DO YOU DO?

Distinctive Engraving is a specialized engraving shop offering personalized products at a quality and price that is hard to beat. We strive to create unique, customized items to fit all your engraving needs. Our full line of products include office signs, name badges, LDS items, sports tournament awards, personalized promotional items, award and recognition plaques, corporate awards, employee incentives or any other type of award for your recognition programs and for the events that you wish to commemorate.


2) HOW DO I ORDER?

Order easily online, by phone, email, or fax.
ONLINE: Browse our web site to see and shop from our most frequently ordered products. Select from premade products to products that can easily be customized online. When you are ready to order follow the instructions on the product checkout pages. Be sure to check and select all options that apply, until your order is finished. You will receive a response from Distinctive Engraving to confirm you order. 3) HOW SHOULD I PROVIDE THE TEXT TO BE ADDED TO MY ENGRAVING ORDER?

Enter text  EXACTLY as you want it to appear on your engraved product (including UPPER/lower case letters). 
Review lists carefully: your list will be used to engrave your product. DistinctiveEngraving will not edit your list. All lists should be submitted in writing either online during product selection, by email, or by fax. 
Lists to go with an online order can be submitted separately by email or fax after your online order is complete. Simply add the quantity you intend to order during the online process and then send us a separate list with your email address, and online order# given after confirmation of your order so we can match your list with the order.
Information for each line of text must be on a separate line, OR in a separate cell of a spread sheet starting at the top of the tag.
If you are requesting duplicate tags enter the information for those tags multiple times. 
Remove all formatting from your list.
A line of descriptive text may be inserted into a list to describe a unique feature of a group of tags, (Type of fastener, layout # # of lines, etc.)

Remember, your list will be used exactly as submitted please verify all spelling and punctuation.


4) HOW DO I SUBMIT THE ARTWORK FOR MY LOGO? ARE THERE PREFERRED FORMATS?

Your logo should be submitted by email: orders@distinctiveengraving.com. If the logo is to accompany an order you have placed online, please include your name and order number in the email with your attachment.
The quality of your name tags is dependent upon the quality of the artwork submitted to Distinctive Engraving. An image from the internet (usually a .jpg, .png, or .gif saved at a resolution of 72 dpi) that looks great on your monitor will not print well. High quality image files (300 dpi or better) may be used for full color printing. 
For the best results, we recommend submitting all artwork as vector files (.eps, .ai,.cdr ) with all text converted to curves or outlines.


ART FILE FORMATS ACCEPTED:

Vector Files:

Encapsulated postscript (.eps), Illustrator (.ai), CorelDraw (.cdr)

Bitmap (raster) Files:

Image files: (.jpg , .gif, .png, .tif, .bmp), Photo Shop (.psd), PhotoPaint (.ppt)

Image files that are embedded in a .doc or .pdf file may also be accepted if the embedded file is a vector file, or high quality bitmap file. Upload the artwork or send it as an attachment via email. Please note that it is not possible to engrave or print all logos, images, and colors a designer will review your artwork and advise you as necessary.


5) DOES DISTINCTIVE ENGRAVING OFFER QUANTITY DISCOUNTS?

Yes. If your products are identical in layouts and colors then you'll save with our quantity discount pricing. We offer quantity discounts on most of our products. If the quantity discount is not shown online, please call or email for a quote.

6) WHAT SHIPPING SERVICE DOES DISTINCTIVE ENGRAVING USE?

Distinctive Engraving uses USPS to ship our products. Charges will be shown on the invoice and checkout page and the order will be shipped as soon as possible.  You can also pick up your orders if you would like to save on shipping. (At 1681 N 1820 W, Provo, UT 84604.)

7) CAN DISTINCTIVE ENGRAVING RUSH MY ORDER?

Yes. Many of our products may be shipped within 5 business days as long as the order is received by 11:00 A.M. Mountain Time. The product you are ordering and the quantity purchased will greatly influence how quickly you can receive your products. Expedited production is available. Rush Fee is 10.00, or 25%, whichever is more + Expedited shipping charges depending on shipping method selected.

PLEASE NOTE: Expedited production is not available at all times frames or for all jobs.


8) IS THERE A SETUP FEE FOR MY PURCHASES?

Maybe. Products that require custom work such as adding a logo or custom design or other development time are subject to setup fees. You will be charged a onetime fee of $25. Stock products or simple customization of text DO NOT incur setup fees. Fee will not be charged for repeat orders using the same logo or design.


9) IS THERE A MINIMUM PURCHASE QUANTITY OR AMOUNT?

No. We will gladly help you with any engraving needs you have.


10) CAN I GET A COST ESTIMATE ON MY ORDER? 

Yes. For most products, please refer to the specific product web pages. You may also call 801-756-3241 or email info@distinctiveengraving.com and we can help you find the best product to meet your needs, offer you a quote., and guide you through the ordering process.


11) WHAT PAYMENT OPTIONS DOES DISTINCTIVEENGRAVING ACCEPT?

We accept all major card credits: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. Distinctive Engraving will also consider accepting PO's from Governmental, Educational and Non Profit entities and for reorders from previous customers. Please call 801-756-3241 or email us if you wish to order by PO.
We also accept checks or money orders.  


12) DO MY PRODUCTS COME WITH A GUARANTEE OR WARRANTY?

Yes. Distinctive Engraving believes very strongly in its quality. we only use the highest grade material for all our products; therefore we guarantee our products to be free of defects for a period of one year after purchase. Defective products will be replaced, returned to Distinctive Engraving for repair, or have replacement parts sent to the user at our option. 13) I live in Utah and see that I am close. Can I pick up my product instead of paying for shipping?

Absolutely. Simply select the in store pickup option in checkout. We will make your product and have it ready for pickup typically within 24-48 hours. We will contact you by phone or email when it is available. The product can be picked up from: 1681 N 1820 W, Provo, UT 84604.
